Our INN is for the conscious traveler who cares a little bit more about curating a unique stay that’s full of once in a lifetime experiences that leave you deeply inspired.
We have two luxurious guest huts nestled in a private wooded area behind Tribe - our coffee roastery, cafe and handicraft training studios.

Built Sustainably with Local Materials

Our huts have been handcrafted with local materials - indigenous trees, fire-baked red clay bricks, grass roofs, and ceilings woven together out of banana leaves - creating a sustainable and relaxing environment that blends seamlessly into the rural hills of Southwest Kenya.
Step further into the luxury of nature when you enter your own private spa over-stepping stones that have been situated on a water floor covered in flower petals, leading you past a fountain to an exposed rainfall shower and sunken plunge pool. Local stone artists harvested and carved soapstone into the tile backsplash of the shower and the double sinks as you enter the stunning spa.

The Space​

The entrance of the hut hosts a patio that glows in the sunsets. Stepping into the room, an oversized platform bed welcomes you and a wooden spiral staircase leads to the second floor loft and balcony suspended into the swaying treetops... a complete canopy of privacy and rest.

Our huts are an oasis for your soul. The furnishings create an atmosphere of home with an exotic old-African flavor. We hand-picked rugs, distressed wooden furniture, soft linens, baskets lamp shades, bamboo faucets, and stoneware that would celebrate the people and regions around us.
Location
The INN is located in a small town called Kilgoris in Maasai land. The Maasai tribe is known for living among the wild game parks of Africa’s Savannahs, farming cattle, for their distinctive dress, jumping dances, fighting lions and ancient traditions.

Kilgoris is one and a half hours from the Masai Mara national reserve… the best place in Africa to go on a safari.
